Important: Gemini uses a pay-as-you-go (post-paid) model. It often includes a generous free tier with rate limits. Billing is handled through your Google Cloud account.
Step 1
Google AI Studio
Visit aistudio.google.com and sign in with your Google account. This is the official developer platform for Gemini.
Step 2
Create API Key
Click 'Get API key' in the top left sidebar. You can create a key in a new Cloud project or an existing one.
